More Calvin and Hobbes and Insect Wallpapers

Not any big updates today, sorry folks. I've added a few new Calvin and Hobbes wallpapers. People seem to love those. A few of them I added today have a more artsy look to them than the traditional drawings. I've also added a new insect wallpaper featuring a praying mantis. Everyone likes praying manti right? Anyway, GTA4 is coming out in a few weeks, it looks likes it going to be a blast to play. Take 2 publishing is expecting 400 million in the first week in sales. Thats crazy! It might happen though, you better preorder if your in an area with not many stores. |

Fairly large update today for winterface.org. I've added several new wallpapers. Two of which women will most likely love. They are cute vector style wallpapers featuring Toast and Jelly and a Bear dressed up as a bee. I've also added several new funny pictures. Some funny people, funny animals and even a funny sign or two. In other news, have you seen the new Asus EEE pc? I still want one of the Asus EEE notebooks but I'm going to wait til the touchscreens come out. The pc looks nice though, little bit larger than a mac mini but a whole lot cheaper. |

TO make up for the sudden loss of activity around here I've uploaded a ton of new wallpapers. We've got new Calvin and Hobbes wallpapers, some cool animal wallpapers, some classic paintings, and some crazy stuff that will have you laughing. One of the wallpapers I've uploaded to the site today is just funny, its an illustration of these fishermen standing on sandiches in the ocean trying to fish for cans of coke. Not sure what all that means but if you want something that will make people ask questions as they glace at your computer screen, that wallpaper will do the trick. Later today I hope to get some more funny pictures up to amuse you all. See you later my friends. |

I know I know, and my traffic shows it, ya'll are content hogs. No updates here for a while, but no I'm not dead and neither is the site, just life busy. Blah blah blah I know. Anyway, I'm storing up all sorts of goodies so be ready come (maybe friday?) for a HUGE update of free wallpapers. |

Allright folks, today we've got a load of new stuff thats been added. IF you are looking for Fighter Jet Wallpaper, I've got you covered now, I've added several, high quality fighter jets in action. Also added was a new picture to the Funny Illustrations section, of Jack in the Box shooting Ronald McDonald in a fast food restaurant. Its crazy, and well drawn too! Next up, I'd like to give a big thanks to the folks over at http://www.trggaming.net/forums/ They've sent a lot of hits my way and I'm glad they like all this stuff I put up. So thanks guys. Also, the Apple Air laptop. They should have called it the Apple "A bunch of hot air" laptop. Honestly. I'd rather have an Asus Eee than that over priced piece of hardware. More Sailing Ship Wallpapers

Wow, since everyone loved those sailing ship wallpapers I added, I've added another one! Its got the gods coming through the waves as a giant storm consumes an old sailing ship. Possible pirate victims? I added two others today as well, one is a funny giraffe wallpaper that is done in a paper cutout animal style. Also added was a sad wallpaper where a news crew (CNN, Fox news, whatever) holds back the red cross from helping someone while their photographer gets the shot. Anyway, its rainy, dreary, and cold outside, might as well explore winterface and download to your hearts content. |

Hey everybody, new wallpapers were added to Winterface! horray! These are cool, I've got 4 high quality Pirate and Sailing Ship themed wallpapers up in the wallpapers section. One of them is really awesome looking and features two pirate ships battling each other on the opea seas. Also added were a few humorous wallpapers. I've added several wallpapers tonight, we've got new Bioshock wallpapers, Urban Disaster wallpapers and a submarine wallpaper. The submarine wallpaper has an awesome spooky antique feel to it, if your into subs or nautical themes, you'll want to check it out. I'm working on getting a giant animated gif collection together and upload it so that there's even more stuff to go through on this site. Added some more christmas themed wallpapers, most are funny though, so don't expect some serious holiday stuff. Added quite a few new funny pictures as well, especially some funny signs I've been finding lately. Anyway, Thats really it, If your having trouble seeing whats new and whats not, make sure you use the "Sort by" drop down menu thats on every gallery. |

Lots of stuff added today, I've added some Bioshock Wallpapers, Optimus Prime wearing a santa hat (For all those Transformer fans in the holiday spirit) and a few other goodies, I'll let you guys go check those out though. Ya'll see the new GTA 4 Trailer? Here it is if your interested: I'm getting really jazzed over this game, Even though people are complaining about the graphics still looking rough, I think it looks a helluva lot better than the last GTA games. Also, for you arcade game fans, Popcap has come with a bunch of their arcade hits for the 360 that you can buy on a disc...you know if you happen to not use the xbox live service I guess. More free wallpapers have been added, about 5 or so, not a huge update, but it'll tide ya'll over hopefully. One of the wallpapers is a must have for futurama fans, it is that scene where the penguins get ahold of the guns. Ahh...Futurama what a wonderful show. The rest are a pretty mix bag of apocalpse city scenes (I think they are from Fallout3), dracula riding dinosaurs (yeah I'm serious, go check it out, its hilarious) and a few other abstract pieces. Still working on adding all those funny photos everyone seems to love.There's already a good chunk of them already. In other news, I want a platformer type game for the xbox360, you know like a mario jumpy type game. Anybody remember Voodoo Vince for the xbox? Someone should get on a sequel to that game for the Xbox360. OH and last but not least, if you've got kids, or are a kid at heart, check out Santa.sc its got all sorts of goodies for the kids at christmas time. One of them is brightly colored and has some crazy abstract shapes going on, so if you like your wallpapers bright and colorful, you'll love that one. Just a quick update! So what do you guys think so far? Hmm, not too bad. I added some more wallpapers, some of them are pretty cool 3d modeled stuff. The Stupid/Funny stuff section is going up, its not up yet but I've already uploaded about 3 folders worth of stuff and there's much much more to add. I'm going to have to upgrade my hosting plan if this keeps up! Anyway, you know, Viva Pinata, despite being a kids game is actually quite addictive. I just got a Xbox360 and between that and Oblivion, I'm hooked. Bioshock, even though its graphics were amazing, about midway through the game I just gave up. You know, having EVERY SINGLE mission be a "Find 3 items scattered throughout a level" gets old QUICK. Oh well. The beginning of that game is spectacular though, it just sputters out. Anyway, if you guys and gals would like to see anything just let me know and I'll see about adding it. |

New sections up

Ya'll haven't seen this before on this site, I've added a wallpaper section. Were these made by me you ask? Nope, just cool stuff I find on my travels around the internet. The new photo management software I've got installed is still a pain but its better than nothing and the alternatives out there. Photography section is up, there's a catagory for Nature, Architecture, and Weather now. I'm missing a few photos out of that but I'll add more. Hopefully there will be a new digital camera under the christmas tree this year so I can keep on taking shots for you guys. A while later I'm going to be uploading all the stupid/funny pictures I've collected over the eons. You guys should have a blast with that section. |

After much stagnation, frustration and possibly even things involving praying manti, I'm bring the site back online. I'm trying to make it: A.) More pretty. B.) More functional with a better photo gallery system and maybe even a better blog format thing. Who knows. Anyway, Everything is broke. Don't even complain. Its useless, I won't listen anyway. See you guys when its done. |
